This page explains how CraftIN Web uses personal data when you browse this website or request a consultation. It applies to web.craftin.lv, not other CraftIN services.

Data we process
When you send a consultation request, we receive your email address, an optional WhatsApp telephone number, your project selections and indicative estimate. We may also process limited technical information, such as an IP address and request time, to prevent abuse.
Why we process data
We use the information to receive and assess your project enquiry, respond to you and discuss potential work. Technical data helps protect the service. We do not use your enquiry details to send unsolicited marketing emails.
Lawful bases
To respond to a consultation initiated by you and take steps before a possible contract, we rely on GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For website security, abuse prevention and establishing or defending legal claims, we rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Where a legal obligation applies, processing is based on the relevant legal requirement.
Cookies and browser storage
The project estimator keeps your choices in your browser's local storage so you can return to them. Those choices are not transmitted to us until you submit an enquiry. Administrator access uses a necessary protected session cookie. The current CraftIN Web code does not implement advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
Who may receive data
Website hosting and email service providers may process the information needed to deliver our services. We do not sell enquiry details or share them with advertising brokers. Where any service involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, applicable data-protection safeguards must be assessed.
How long data is retained
Enquiry correspondence is kept in the communication mailbox for as long as necessary to respond, explore potential cooperation or defend legal interests, and longer only where required by law. You can clear the estimator choices stored in your own browser. The administrator session cookie has a maximum lifespan of 12 hours.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, use the data controller's email address shown above. If you believe processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate.

Requests are handled server-side, and administration access requires authentication. Prices shown by the estimator are indicative only, not legally significant automated decisions or binding offers.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change or we introduce new analytics or communication services, we will update this page and request consent where required.
